What is the Own New Rate Reducer Scheme?

Own New Rate Reducer is a financial scheme designed to help make it more affordable for aspiring homeowners to take a step up the ladder.

Available exclusively on new-build homes, the scheme can enable eligible homebuyers to reduce monthly mortgage payments for the two- or five-year fixed-rate period.*

Unlike some other homebuyer incentives, Own New is available to home movers as well as first-time buyers and it’s not limited to properties of a certain price point or type, such as houses or apartments. That means they have more choice on the kind of property that they buy - as long as it is a newly built home.

Own New Rate Reducer works with home builders and lenders behind the scenes, taking a fee from the home builders and using this with the lender to reduce the interest on mortgage payments for the initial term. All you have to do is follow these easy steps:

Step 1. Find your dream home at Brabazon! 

Find an Own New property that you love at Brabazon and book your visit to our Sales Centre and Show Homes to learn more.

Step 2. Speak to a reputable mortgage broker.

Sit down with an independent approved Own New mortgage broker. The will take time to understand your personal circumstances to determine if Own New scheme is right for you. We can put you in touch with the independent experts at Fairstone.

Step 3. Reserve your Own New home at Brabazon!

Is Own New available on all properties at Brabazon?
