The range of one and two-bedroom apartments and two, three and four-bedroom homes, known as The Hangar District, are scheduled to go on sale at Brabazon before the end of 2020, with the first new residents moving in as early 2021.

Created by internationally renowned and locally-based architects Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios and built of solid red brick, the new properties will be proper homes: spacious, warm and welcoming.

The first collection of homes are set among tree-lined streets across a South-facing hillside, and spill out onto the green, open space of Brabazon Park.

Brabazon will offer smarter living, energy-efficient homes and a commitment to quality design and craftsmanship in every property.

The neighbourhood will be better connected to Bristol and beyond by a dedicated MetroBus, a network of walking routes and cycle paths, as well as a new train station that will link to Bristol Temple Meads in less than 15 minutes.

Vicky Dudbridge, Head of Residential Development Sales for Savills Bristol, said:

“We are delighted to work with YTL Developments on the introduction of Brabazon, which is set to be a thriving and sustainable community for Bristol and the most exciting new city district in the South West.”

As well as new homes, creative workspaces, schools, health facilities, parks and public squares, Brabazon is also set to become a hub for entertainment following the grant of planning permission to build YTL Arena Bristol earlier this year.

This new 19,000-capacity venue will be a new home for world-class music, sport and family entertainment, and will complement the range of independent stores, cafés, bars and restaurants that are already planned at Brabazon.

Vicky added: “Brabazon will become a pioneering new place where people from all walks of life can live, work, relax and spend time together.”

Jon McDiarmid, Sales & Marketing Director at YTL Developments, said:

“Inspired by the Bristol Brabazon - an icon of engineering - we’re designing a new city district where the pioneers of the future can live, and enjoy the best that life has to offer. We can’t wait to welcome the first new residents to Brabazon in early 2021.”
